Tech Talk
with Nick

This time of year our machines heat up
quickly especially when we embroider a
design.
We can help our machines run cooler when we
make sure to have a drop of oil in the
bobbin mechanism before or after running a
design.
You are the first line of defense for your
machine's well being. If you notice any
sudden noises not heard before or any
noticeable slowing of your machine's
performance, your machine needs service
immediately.
Bring your machine in for a service checkup.
If your machine is under warranty there is
no cost to you. If you don't have a warranty
on your machine, have us put it on while
we're servicing it.
I'm seeing a lot of horrible, old dried up
brands of thread on and in your machines.
These brands may be cheap when you buy them
but no doubt you are paying with your time
when your machine develops the "skipped
stitches syndrome", broken thread heartache,
dull looking stitches, and out of thread
messages.
Give your machine a break; feed it the good
stuff-long staple, European brand threads.
Feel free to ask me any questions you may
have about the technical aspects or
behaviors of your machines and I will share
the question and answers with everyone in
the monthly newsletter.
